IT'S ALL ABOUT THE ATHLETE

My child/young athlete is keen to improve, how can you help them?

 

The first thing we will do is find out about you and your young athlete. I will need to understand goals and aspirations as well as current form and successes.   A short video analysis will get us underway in understanding the first steps forward.

Personal coaching whether face to face or remotely brings huge benefits, it’s the continual updating of skills that matters. Hugely important in a growing athlete.

When and why training takes place

​

As a coach I can set an overview annual programme along with a detailed day by day programme  which will be progressive and periodised. This follows common coaching wisdom as to when to do certain types of training.

 Can you work around other spots and commitments?

​

The answer is of course yes.  I understand that young people have busy and sometimes hectic lives. A tailored plan can work around or with other sports and school/college work. Don't forget ,whatever your lifestyle “hurrying slowly forward” towards long term goals pays the best dividends.

How do I know the programme that you set will bring benefits?

​

The training and associated exercises set  will bring guaranteed benefits. It’s a simple equation. You put the correct work in at the right stage of development the rewards will come.
